And they mention a lot of tips that they used to follow while they were preparing for their first attempt. So not all, but we are sharing 5 must-follow tips for all the JEE Main aspirants who want to crack in their first attempt.
These 5 tips were shared by the previous year’s selected students. So, if you are a JEE aspirant and want some JEE topper tips to crack on the first attempt, these tips will definitely help you crack JEE Mains on the first attempt.
Every IIT aspirant dreams of cracking the IIT-JEE Mains on the first attempt. Each student tries his best to fulfil this dream, but not all students achieve this. This means that only studying is not enough. You have to take care of other things like a proper study method, a preparation roadmap, selective study material, and more.
Well, it is not your fault, as you are appearing in JEE Mains for the first time. But you can learn these things from already selected students. They can tell you what you should do to get selected for IIT JEE Mains in the first attempt.
IIT JEE usually surpassed every other test by far. The aspirants want to get good marks in a fairly short time, but doing so is not as easy as it seems. So here are some practical tips that will help you pass IIT-JEE with flying colours in the first attempt itself. Let’s start the 5 Tips to Crack JEE Mains In First Attempt:
1. Always try to clear concepts
This is one of the best tips for IIT JEE aspirants. It’s important to understand the concepts of the lesson you are learning in order to be able to retain it. For example, if you don’t understand what “addition” means, then you won’t understand that 7+5=12. So, make sure that you will always learn the concepts.
Curious minds and questioning always lead to a better understanding of every concept. So, always be curious while attending class or facing any new concept. Moreover, if you have clear concepts, it will save time while repeating the same topic. And you will have more time to read the new concepts.
2. Give Equal Weightage to All Subjects
Not only for the IIT JEE examination but also for all the competition exams, the right to prepare for them is to give equal weightage to all the subjects. Often we see that students are focusing on some selective subjects and underestimating the left subjects as they consider them easy.
You all have to understand that every subject and each mark will play a significant role in your selection. So, don’t make this mistake if you want to crack JEE Mains in the first attempt.
3. Choose Limited Study Material
The main thing that can matter in preparation for IIT JEE Mains is your study material. It is often seen that aspirants believe in having immense books and practice sets. They feel that their knowledge will improve by reading more types of books.
But, this is one of the biggest mistakes that JEE Mains candidates make while preparing. Students have to keep very limited study material. Practising, again and again, the same content will empower your speed of solving terms and make you confident. The best material you can have is the NCERT books and your coaching-provided content.
4. Focus on Physics and Chemistry at Exam Time
Apart from the entire year, exam time is a crucial time when you have to revise selective things in a limited time or period. Probably, that’s why focusing on Physics and Chemistry at exam time is suggested by selected students.
Maybe the reason is you can revise the concepts faster than math questions. It does not mean that you have to pay attention to the subject of maths, nor do you have to take care of the importance of maths and focus a little more on the concepts of physics and chemistry.
5. Avoid Mobile Phones
Last but not least. The biggest distraction for students as of now is a mobile phone. And unfortunately, many students use mobile phones. Wasting time is not only one side-effect of mobile a phone. Students can face other problems like poor sleep, distraction, Tendinitis, stress, and many more.
It is strongly suggested to avoid mobile phones for every aspirant who is preparing for JEE Mains, except if you are attending online classes or any test series.
