MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) has issued an important notice regarding the counselling of NEET UG 2024. The notice concerns vacating candidates’ seats allotted in Rounds 1 and 2. According to the notice, interested candidates must submit their resignations before Ist October 2024.
In the notification, MCC mentioned that we are getting requests from candidates to resign from the allotted seats. That is why the competent authority has allowed the resignation of such candidates. Candidates who desire to leave their Round-1 or Round-2 seats can do so before 5:00 P.M. on 1st October 2024.
Instructions To Read Before Resign:
- Round-1 candidates who did not get upgraded in Round 2 can resign from their seats without forfeiting their security deposit within the stipulated time of resignation.
- Freshly allotted candidates of Round 2 who joined their seats but now want to resign can vacate their seats with forfeiture of the security deposit within the stipulated time of resignation.
- Candidates who got upgraded in Round 2 and joined the upgraded seat but now want to resign can vacate their seat with forfeiture of the security deposit within the stipulated time of resignation.
- Candidates will have to report physically at the allotted college to resign their seats. Candidates are advised to ensure that their Resignation Letter is generated online (through a portal provided by MCC) by the allotted college, failing which the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.
The Medical Counseling Committee issued the result of Counseling Round-02 NEET UG 2024 on September 19. Candidates who are satisfied with the result need to report to their allotted institute for document verification on September 27.
