MCC Added Nearly 200 Seats In First Round of NEET UG Counselling 2022

The Medical counselling committee (MCC) yesterday added around 200 seats to the first round of the seat allocation process. MCC has added 197 seats to government colleges across the country. Aspirants can visit mcc.nic.in to view the full list of increased seats in NEET UG 2022 counselling

According to the official Notice of MCC, it stated that the MCC had received information about the institutes which could not contribute additional seats before the start of round one of UG counselling 2022. Therefore, for the best interest of MBBS aspirants, MCC has decided to add extra seats to the first round of UG counselling 2022.

Seats Increased in Colleges across the Country 

According to the official list published on the website of MCC, they have added 15 seats to Government Medical College in Doda, ESIC Medical College Bihta, Anantnag, Kathua, Kannauj, Osmanabad, Porbandar, Morbi, Baramulla and Navsari. In addition to that, they have added 17 seats to the Government Medical College of Rajouri, 27 seats to the Government Medical College of Srinagar, 15 seats to the GMERS Medical College Rajpipla and 18 seats to Dr YS Parmar Government Medical College of Nahan (Himachal Pradesh)

How to check the new seat matrix?

Step 1st – Go to the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in.

Step 2nd – Click on the UG Medical Counselling option.

Step 3rd – Click on “Notice for the addition of UG seats in Round One.

Step 4th – Click the download button to download the PDF that contains the newly added seat details.

Step 5th – Open the downloaded PDF to find the official Notice and new seat details.

MCC has added extra seats only considering the larger interest of the candidates. MBBS aspirants will have time till October 18 to exercise choice filling for the additional seats for round one of UG counselling.
