Every field has its own importance. But the most important thing is what are you most curious about. If you are curious about Biology and dreaming of becoming a doctor then you can prepare for NEET.   On the other hand, if you have interest in Physics and Maths and you are curious about technology and have critical thinking then you can become an engineer by preparing for JEE.

NEET Stands for National Eligibility Test is conducted by The NTA (The National Testing Agency). NEET is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in medical colleges across the country. After passing NEET you can take admission in medical college and study MBBS, BDS or other courses.

What is JEE? JEE (The Joint Entrance Exam) is conducted by NTA only.  JEE is a computer based test (Online).  It is organized twice a year by NTA for admission in prestigious engineering and architecture colleges and institutes across the country.

NEET is offline i.e Pen Paper Test and conducted once a year. Must have 50% in 10+2 Exam and 45% for reserved category candidates. Candidate must passed 10+2 with PCB(Physics, chemistry and Biology) NEET is also conducted in 13 Major languages.  +4 marks for each correct answer and -1 for Each incorrect answer.

What is eligibility for JEE?

JEE is CBT(Computer Based test) and conducted twice a year. Must passed 10+2 with PCM(Physics, chemistry and mathematics). Entrance to top Engineering Institutes like IITs, NITs, GFTIs. Must have 75% in 10+2 Exam and 65% for reserved category candidates. Candidates will get a +4 mark for each Correct answer and -1 mark for each incorrect answer. 

JEE Main

JEE Main pattern

JEE main conducted by NTA(The National Testing Agency) and conducted twice a year.  Two sessions of main are conducted in January anD April. JEE Main is conducted in 13 Major languages.  There are no ranking criteria for JEE Main. The total time for JEE main is three hours(180 minutes). JEE Main is for admission in IITs, NITs, other Govt. and private institutes.

JEE Advanced conducted by IITs.  JEE Advanced is conducted once a year. JEE Advanced is conducted only in Hindi and English. In Jee Advanced candidates must rank under top 2 lakh 50 thousand. The total time for the JEE advanced exam is 6 hours.  JEE Advanced is for admission in top Engineering Institutes like IITs, NITs, GFTIs.

Difficulty level between JEE and NEET.

JEE Main is least difficult. NEET is moderately difficult. JEE Advanced is considered is most difficult. The number of candidates appearing for NEET is much more than JEE and the institute is also less than JEE. In such a situation, NEET is more difficult. The number of seats in NEET is more than that of JEE.

NEET and JEE both are good career options. But which test you have to prepare for depends on your interest. You will have to work hard to prepare for both the tests.
