January attempt for JEE 2024 is around the corner, as it’s one month away. Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency has released the FAQ for JEE Main 2024 on its official website. Students who are going to appear in this upcoming JEE Main 2024’s first attempt are advised to go through these FAQs.
FAQs are those frequently asked questions which are often asked by JEE aspirants regarding their various doubts. To clear all these doubts, NTA release a press release for FAQs only every year, one month before the exam day. Therefore, the JEE Main 2024 FAQ are here.

FAQ For JEE Main 2024
Surprisingly, in the JEE Main 2024 FAQ, there are only 10 questions and, obviously, their answers. Usually, we see NTA add near about 20+ questions in the FAQs press release. However, this time, NTA concluded in 10 only. And somewhere it is good for students so they would be confused.
Nonetheless, all those 10 FAQ from JEE Main 2024 are given here. You can go and check them out one by and, read them carefully, and understand them. In case you want more clearance, the comment section is always open for you.
Q. 1 – Can I make a correction in my online application form for JEE (Main) – 2024?
Ans – An opportunity for making corrections in the Particulars of the Application Form on the website only will be provided after the closing date of the Online submission of the Application Form.
Q. 2 – Can I add more sessions (Session 1 or Session 2 of 2024) during the correction window period?
Ans – The candidate can add Session 2, along with the session he/she already selected, while filling out the application form during the correction window period. The fee for the added session will also have been paid by the candidate.
Q 3 – Can I remove any selected session (Session 2 of 2024) during the correction window period?
Ans – The candidate can remove Session 2 of 2024) during the correction window period. However, the fee for the removed session will not be refunded.
Q. 4 – Can I interchange the session (from Session 1 to Session 2 or vice versa) during the correction window period?
Ans – No, you can’t.
Q. 5 – Can I add more Papers (Paper 1 Paper 2A, or Paper 2B) during the correction window period?
Ans – Yes, the candidate can add more paper during the correction window period. The fee for added paper will, if applicable also be paid by the candidate.
Q. 6 – Can I remove any selected Paper during the correction window period?
Ans – Yes, the Candidate can remove or add any selected Paper (Paper 1 and/or Paper 2A and/or Paper 2B) during the correction window period. An extra fee (if any) will be paid by the candidate. However, the fee for the removed paper will not be refunded.
Q. 7 – I have paid the fee more than one time, but my confirmation page is not downloaded.
Ans – Candidates are advised to wait for 24 Hours until the payment status is updated. In case the Confirmation Page is not generated even after 24 hours of payment of the fee, then the candidate may approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (helpline numbers and email given in Appendix II of Information Bulletin) to ensure the successful payment or to obtain the refund of duplicate/multiple payments. Later, if payment is reflected with NTA, the amount of duplicate transactions will be refunded after the declaration of the final result of JEE (Main) – 2024.
Q. 8 – The contact details of ICICI Bank given the Information Bulletin of JEE (Main) – 2024 have been updated.

Q. 9 – Has the last date of online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2024 been extended?
Ans – Yes, the last date of the online Application Form of JEE (Main) – 2024 has been extended up to 04 December 2023.
Q. 10 – When will the correction window be opened?
Ans – The Correction facility will be given from 06 December to 08 December 2023.
