Increased Seats in NEET UG 2023: 600 New Seats 

Good news for all NEET UG 2023 aspirants; 600 new seats increased for NEET UG 2023 aspirants. These new MBBS seats will be added from the six new medical colleges in the U.P. Nonetheless, you can get to know more about these increased seats in NEET UG 2023 in the article. 

Let you know the Government of Uttar Pradesh state announced six new medical colleges under the Public Private Partnership Programme (PPT). Each new medical college will be allotted 100 MBBS seats. The state Govt. is planning to add these seats in 2023. Hence, there will be 600 more seats for NEET UG 2023 aspirants. 

Increased Seats in NEET UG 2023

Currently, MBBS seats in India are 99763, and the total number of medical colleges is 654, according to the MCC website information. After adding these 600 new seats in NEET UG 2023, the number of total seats in MBBS in India will be 1,00,417. And the increased number of medical colleges will be 660. 

As all the new medical colleges are opening in Uttar Pradesh, the new increased 600 seats will also be in Uttar Pradesh only. The Government planned to open these medical colleges in six different districts. But, the names of all these colleges and districts are not completely official.
